In 1922 a new trolley car debuted in DC that was intended to rejuvenate the trolley line. The refurbished Providence car made it’s debut on the 11th Street line and with it’s updated features and new look the Providence marked a new era of transportation in our Nation’s Capital.
As the Providence rode down the tracks on 11th Street people celebrated the symbol this car represented; Renaissance, Revival, Rejuvenation. In fact, these same tracks still exist under 11th Street. Today, The Providence represents another celebration of Renaissance, Revival, and Rejuvenation in our Nation’s Capital in the form of 8 new homes. Come experience the past and present with our dramatic 1920’s building featuring brand new floors, finishes, and state of the art energy efficient appliances. Contact us and find out more today.
